About
Dalia Carroll, MBACP
I started my counselling training in 2015 and qualified as a person-centred counsellor in 2022. After qualification, I continued to work with my placements in the local community while taking the decision to set up private practice in the spring of 2023. I am also a Lecturer in Counselling at a further education college, and I am very passionate about my subject and seeing the progression of the learners.

I have always had a passion for helping people and have worked in the education sector for 18 years. In that time, I have helped young people manage their emotions and develop coping strategies, building up resilience to life's obstacles.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and committed to the ethical framework and helping clients work through their issues and inner conflicts.

I work with both adults and young people and have worked with a range of issues including trauma, anxiety, bereavement, self-esteem and self-worth, loss, suicidal ideation, domestic violence and emotional abuse, OCD. Quite recently, I have also contributed to a PhD study on newly-qualified counsellors and their work in trauma.
